From the beginning Hitch's visual storytelling is flawless. I was especially impressed by the economy of the narrative, something he eventually abandons for a richer cinematic language. Though not a "Hitchcockian" movie, there are still familiar elements such as voyeurism, play with shadows and even a flirtation with high anxiety. And yes, it's a must-see for Hitch fans.

People sometimes compare Hitchcock and Bunuel, and having seen both of their first films, i can say that Bunuels first attempts were far more pleasing to the eye
