Maybe my favorite slasher of all time. The kill scenes are, as has been mentioned, totally untouchable. The rest of the film isn't nearly as bad as the rest of these haters would have you believe.

This film has my favorite kills of any slasher film: They're brutal, bloody, and well-staged. Too bad the rest of the movie is so boring. The characters wander around doing nothing for most of the running time. Still, the atmosphere is great, as is the shock ending. See this for Savini's FX, not the story.

This is one of the rare 80s slashers that delivers on its promise...the kills aren't just graphic, they are quite lengthy. Movie loses steam half way through.
