When a young doctor suspects she may not be alone in her new Brooklyn loft, she learns that her landlord has formed a frightening obsession with her.
A pretty standard thriller in the vein of "Psycho". There were some eerie moments, but overall it was predictable and had no identity of its own. It was nice to see Christopher Lee on screen again, but this was certainly not up to traditional Hammer standards. Confusingly and disappointingly, the film unveils its only twist mid-way through the story without any reveal - it simply gave it all away on a platter.
boring. predictable. cliched to hell. no amount of fancy camera work or suspenseful music could've saved this boring piece of dreck.
If I wrote the word "BOO" in capital letters, you'd probably be more scared than if you were to watch this predictable and pretentious film. The double Oscar winner Swank is unconvincing and baring the few precious moments where Christopher Lee is present, there is little else worthwhile.
