The film, as a semi-remake of the original The Texas Chain Saw Massacre and as a semi-sequel to the other films, takes as its subjects four adolescent characters, Sean, Heather, Barry and Jenny (Renee Zellweger) on promenade who decide to leave the festivities early. They make a detour in the Texas woods and end up in a car accident. They then come into contact with a family of psychopaths who inhabit a dilapidated farm-house in the middle of the forest. The family, known as the Sawyers include Vilmer (Matthew McConaughey), a trucker with a cybernetic leg; W.E., a literature-quoting redneck; Darla (Vilmer’s love-interest), who runs a real-estate office nearby; and Leatherface, a crazed cross-dressing murderer and cannibal wielding a chainsaw. —Wikipedia
This film holds the dubious honor of being the worst I've ever seen. Nothing about it even makes sense. It's great.
Worth seeing for Matthew McConaughey's bum-leg scenery chewing. Otherwise it's complete trash.
