It is based on a novel, indeed, by Eduardo Alfredo Sacheri.
Absolutely deserving of its Oscar. A finely crafted, deliciously performed story which takes the form of a police procedural but is so much more.
It's a professionally made film, good actors, good lights, cinematography and screenplay. But nothing really special. It has no message to me like most crime stories, but it was a great experience overall because I saw Darín, a great performance. The stadium chase is brilliantly made.
Visually captivating and tragically real with an amazing soundtrack and all-around solid performances. It doesn't deliver anything new but what it does deliver is top notch. The chase scene at the stadium is unforgettable and the ending is simple, but strangely satisfying.
Beautifully directed, entertaining and touching. An absolutely must-see. The chasing sequence at the football stadium is absolutely breathtaking.
Watching it for the second times: wonderful! Not mentioning the soundtrack: just wordless! AMAZING
The sequence of pursuit in the stadium during the football match is amazing!
While I can't say I prefered it to A Prophet or The White Ribbon, its still a far above average thriller with engaging performances and one genuinely astounding chase sequence.
Wow, what a heartbreaking film. Absolutely loved it. Thanks Netflix Instant Watch!
Some very interesting shots (like the scenes in the football stadium), good acting, but in the end the film is just a cliché.
Bonito. Triste. Surpreendente. (O mais puro castellano rioplatense. Tive que colocar legendas).
