I figured the Scooby-Doo films are in order to warn off those who are thinking of seeing this... XD

just a movie but this is just another hollywood crap movie.

A real disappointment of a story. I used to watch the Smurfs and they were fun to watch. It is scary that they have announced a further two sequels.

The franchising of just about anything in films today really makes me think that it is no different than the billions (adding up to trillions!) spent on defense and military...money spent for the sake of spending money (among other things)...

I mean, when all that money could go to more deserving projects and filmmakers, or even the very citizens of this country that end up having to watch garbage like this as they sink deeper into debt...maybe I'm going off the deep end here but fuck, what a waste of money such "films" like "The Smurfs" are!

Although I largely agree about promoting more deserving projects, I would not go as far as to say that money spent on movies is the same as money spent on weapons.
