Agnès Varda has been called the “Grandmother of the New Wave,” a well-meaning if curious tribute for a woman who directed her first feature film at the age of 26.

i found this short fascinating.it displays the obsession varda has with the idols of culture and society. also it outlines the link between her cinema, her style and poetry, linked literally in this case. when she films paris she seems to get deeper than any other filmmaker of her generation.
