Agree about the fantasy sequences. They're unnecessary, a waste of money and at its worst, corny. 3 stars for the performances though.

The music is incredible and the film captures the chemistry among the band really well. The fantasy sequences are most certainly silly and unnecessary, but I don't mind them too much. They date the film, but they're sort of endearing.
