The Story of Seabiscuit

Margaret (Shirley Temple) is recovering from her brother’s untimely death in a racing accident. When she visits her Uncle Shawn (Barry Fitzgerald), a racehorse trainer, she meets Ted Knowles (Lon McCallister), a sweet horse jockey who helps Margaret believe in the world again. He promises her he’ll quit racing, but when Shawn discovers a horse, Seabiscuit, that’s destined to become a champion, his promise is put to the test.
