The Tenants

During the days of the attacks of PCC, a criminal organization, to São Paulo, the lives of a family on the outskirts of the city is altered with the arrival of three noisy youths at the house next door. Valter, Iara and their two children start losing sleep. Valter, an employee at a fruit-stall, struggles to deal with the changes on his road that Iara tells him about. Since the arrival of the new tenants, Iara seems more beautiful to him as each day goes by. Soon, they realize the three young men are involved in organized crime; violence seems inevitable and they begin to feel threatened. —mostra.org
