The Treasure Seekers

Edith Nesbit’s classic children’s tale comes to life in this whimsical adaptation starring Nicholas Farrell as Richard Bastable, an eccentric widower and inventor working to perfect a new form of refrigeration. When Bastable’s five, high-spirited children realize the family is close to financial ruin, they scheme to save their home, aided by dashing explorer Henry Carlisle (James Wilby) and sympathetic doctor Mary Leslie (Gina McKee).
