Synopsis

The movie's ingenious setting that represents the kind of existential dissatisfaction and longing practically carries the whole plot by itself. Weir plays with the idea but doesn't try to be too philosophical or intricate. For such a setting I think it might have actually been a wise decision but at the same time I can't help wanting something more.

genius! finally saw this for the first time.. truly a brilliant and well-done piece of film making. One of the best of the 90s.
