I’m not a huge fan of Twilight and I didn’t see the first film. I ended up watching this one simply because it was my friend’s birthday and she desperately wanted to see it so I went along with it.

Overall, not a really terrible film. Definitely a film targeted to tweens and teen girls.

Robert Pattinson is the biggest highlight to the film, as well as the other sexy vampires! I mostly enjoyed the action scenes.

The werewolves are the biggest disappointment – they’re just giant wolves. (Yawn!)

The beginning of the film starts off very slow and boring!

The whole film was too much drama and romance (i.e. soap opera minus the glamour of a soap opera), and I think the characters could have been emphasized more / written better. There wasn’t a lot of concrete story line or plot, it mostly was just a fantasy world revolving around Bella (Kristen Stewart’s character).

I didn’t feel this film was that great and I definitely would not have seen it otherwise since I’m very picky about my films. But, I guess it’s a great film for their target audience (delusional tweens and teens that crave romance like a vampire craves blood).

Plus, the makers of the film know this saga is getting a lot of hype, hence money-making… there’s going to be a third installment to the film – obviously! Watch the film and you’ll know that.

The ending just definitely throws you off. I definitely think this film is insane (not in a good way)… little girls watch this film and get delusions of what a relationship should be like – not good.

But, amazing cast and I loved the forest scenes / setting! (I think it was set in Canada?)
