Synopsis

Two men and a woman travel on the Danube with a barge heaped with ammunition. It’s August 1944, and the barge could hit anytime the mines put by the Nazi soldiers. The tension is heightened by the danger, but also by the suspicion and rivalry between the two men. —IMDbPro

The Danube Waves requires immediate restoration, subtitles (primarily English other than bootleg copies) and a "delicious" DVD release, anyone? Perhaps along with Ciulei's other two films, Eruption and Forest of the Hanged?
