The dance numbers are spiffy. The casualness with which everyone in the movie accepts everything from french fries to a dismembered body is odd and left me disengaged. If the people in the movie don't care, neither do I.
Un bijou intemporel à consommer sans modération ou du moins pour le talent de Françoise Dorléac , le charme de Catherine Deneuve et la voix d’éphèbe de Jacques Perrin .
The murder subplot comes as a severed toe buried in a bowl of lemon sorbet, a baffling irrelevancy and gross error of taste in an otherwise delightful confection.
I LOVE THIS MOVIE. Jacques Demy makes life look like an ice cream parlor. Plus, Gene Kelly is terrific!
Everyday is full of sunshine... Lacking the melodramatic edge of Les Parapluies de Cherbourg, this is nevertheless a zestful and energetic piece of beautifully tailored fluff.
This movie always bring me back to my teenage years...Love all those songs...
