Powerful stuff. It helps a lot that the casting is absolutely spot on. And that kid (Thomas Turgoose), man-o-man, did they get lucky finding that kid.

Pequeña mafia de niños que buscan identidad y se forman como skinheads...pasan todo el día solos, vagando entonces la pandillita es como la familia buena onda que todo lo alienta y nada corrige (suena bkn!), pero el paraicillo sòlo dura hasta que llegan los reventados de verdad (salen de la cárcel) y van a controlar al grupo con verdadera rigidez de nazi (racismo a cagar y violencia gratuita).

la interpretaciòn del personaje ppal es buenisima y eso que es un niño chico como de 10 años (Thomas Turgoose)....la fotografia para este caso tb es super linda y la canciòn principal la adoro (Gavin Clark-Never Seen The Sea )

Its a very powerful story that you can't close your mind to, its interesting to be able to find this kind of film was made. Its fearless of showing the real side of these characters without being jugdeful, glamourize. Well made and acted, its very touching, its like it grabs you from the balls and forces you to watch something the can be typically ugly.

Nice film. I must say, though, that the ending felt a bit sudden, abrupt, simplistic (maybe), and sentimental. Loved the naturalistic 16mm photography. Some amazing performances. This is acting.

This is a gritty and raw film, the child actor in this film is brilliant. Wonderful 16mm cinematography and always love the 1970s/80s punk soundtrack, especially the ska influences of Toots Hibbert. The film is pretty authentic and it's characters are very fun to watch.

Reminds me a lot of The 400 Blows when Shaun breaks the fourth wall at the last second, on the beach. This film does not stick with one individual's perspective which, I think, weakens it a whole lot.

rui tenreiro: too easy to say that "less brains than hair." this film don't show us the real skinhead scene, a lot of skin doesn't care about racism or politic, it's a culture with rules, music (ska reggae skinhead, oi, punkrock) you can talk with some of them and you can find some very interesting people.... american history x is not a film which concern skinhead scene... working class rules!!!oi
