Kiarostami, the Master of mixing fiction and reality

The best of Koker trilogy in my opinion. Have you heard a director making a film (Kiarostami), about a director making another film (Keshavarz) portraying another director (Kheradmand)?! The border between fiction and reality is once again deemed in this masterpiece of Kiarostami. It’s full of visual beauties, mixed with bittersweet aspects of life. The last scene is one of the most beautiful scenes I have ever seen for sure. A long shot, from two human white spots, walking through long grass, with tall olive trees all around, shaking with the breeze, the girl stops, says something to the guy but you never know what she said. The guy starts running the opposite way, and the movie finishes. Damn brilliant.
