a fun little time travel/Inception-esque film. it was not what I expected it to be at all. I really liked the style in which it was shot, which reminded me somewhat of Shaun of the Dead, etc.

Que cinta tan bárbara. Sci-fi del absurdo redondísimo y supremo. De lo mejor que he visto en años.

O final deixou-me atónito. Escolhas criativas.

it will certainly be no crime if you spend eighty eight minutes of your time with this one. i wonder if vigalondo was purposely tipping his hat to vertigo?

The main character probably is the biggest idiot ever, and dialogues are really bad. If not for that, it could have been a nice movie.

Pretty good timetravel-y movie, though it doens't go past the (nice) gimick and i could use more of Vigalondo's sense of humour.

Excellent time travel, but Hector is written as such an idiot, an Karra Elejalde doesn't bring any real life into him, that I simply can't enjoy the picture.

You make a valid point regarding Hector, but consider the fact that maybe he was written that way. Maybe he was suppossed to an unsympathetic idiot. This is one of the things that made me like the movie even more, the fact that Hector really is just an ordinary dude in an extraordinary situation.

With his debut feature, Vigalondo has created an amusing horror/thriller/farce about a bumbling accidental time traveler who neither understands nor cares about the paradoxes of screwing around with time. "Timecrimes" toys with causal determinism and free will in a darkly humorous package. A welcome addition to the genre.

Tightly made, and I'm still thinking about it after I finish watching it.

Oh man...so good. Figuring out the purpose of every single moment from that first act is just fantastic.

A neat little time travel film tied up in a tidy bow. Well crafted, though "Primer" is still the gold standard for indie time travel films. Nitpick: I FUCKING HATE when someone is able to tiptoe up behind someone else, unheard, in a forest. It always rings false.

A time-travel film that starts out predictably, but slowly gets stranger and stranger. This is partly a parody of time-travel films and partly a great addition to them, that gets you thinking about the paradoxes that would ensue if time-travel were possible. A film that borders on horror movie for part of it, this is clever, fun, even though you will be shouting at the characters on screen sometimes as they decide to do the most ludicrous, illogical things, just to keep the story going.

This film blew my freaking MIND! I love how it stayed with one average man through the entire film. We get to delve into a single character and see him transform as he deals with the consequences of something that is above and beyond his realm of understanding.
