wonderful ....... a superb inspiring story that lightens our emotions told with a really great visual and artistic style ........... a real great film for everybody.

Really difficult to translate Joe Simpsons compelling book onto the screen, but this does it as well as it could be done.
Quite an extraordinary film. The story it tells is one of the most incredible tales of survival I've ever heard, and it could have been done wrong in so many ways. For telling it as well as it could be told, this could be considered a perfect film.
