Rancher Tom Rosser (Dana Andrews) is despondent when his wife (Coleen Gray) is murdered in a hit that was meant to take him out. Two years later, he returns to the scene hell-bent on bringing the killers to justice. But there’s a twist: the outlaws are now running the town.
