Synopsis

At the end of their lives, Hermann and his wife Anna are pursuing the old dream of starting all over. In a sanatorium, German scientists present them with the opportunity of buying the bodies of two young, healthy and beautiful Africans. To ensure their family’s survival in Africa, Apolain and Sarah decide to sell their last remaining possession: their bodies, which are in perfect physical condition. Thanks to the Personality Transfer, Hermann and Anna gain control over these bodies for twenty hours a day. For only four hours at night, after Hermann and Anna have fallen asleep, Apolain and Sarah can regain control of their own bodies. –São Paulo International Film Festival

Interesting film and concept, someone had mentioned that it's quietly devastating, indeed it is and very thought provoking as well. The two main leads are fantastic, giving wonderful humane performances, couldn't keep my eyes off of both. At times the film gets a little confusing but for the most part it was a pleasant watch and one I would recommend.

It is, as well, tragic that whilst seeking a couple of reviews about the film within my country's most popular collaborative dictionary, the only entry i ran into was "mine". I almost appreciated it and wanted to get in touch with the author (?). Please do comment, paranoid androids. How can you swallow so much sleep without science fiction? Dombili taocular sizi.
