Trial by Jury

While sitting as a juror in the murder trial of crime boss Rusty Pirone (Armand Assante), single mother Valerie Alston (Joanne Whalley) gets a visit from the mobster’s enforcer (William Hurt), who threatens to kill her and her young son unless she hangs the jury. Gabriel Byrne co-stars as the ambitious district attorney who isn’t above using unscrupulous tactics to send Pirone up the river in this cynical courtroom drama.
