A haunting, atmospheric and very disturbing film about Antonioni’s key subject: Incommunicability, expressed in the movie as an inability to love and communicate.Claire Denis showcases her full talent in this sublime horror(?) film, with mind-blowing performances by Beatrice Dalle and Vincent Gallo and great music by Tindersticks.
Trouble Every Day suffers from comparison with Grandrieux’s Sombre unfornately(which is largely superior in style).
