The film is a window to the other side of the world that I may not even have the chance of visiting or living yet the film provides much to be awed at about the simple pastoral life in this remote province of Kazakhstan.

There is not much of a story or plot to expect but the film provides a gentle, almost poetic experience on what it feels to be in love, to be loved, to leave your home village and to start a new life with hope.

The scene when one of the characters gives air to breath to the mouth of the newly-born lamb so the animal can live provides an almost spiritual bliss about pure human compassion.
