Synopsis

A $20 bill provides a unique perspective as it wends its way through the various strata of America’s classes, providing an up-close-and-personal look at our society and the American experience. Among the characters who latch onto the “dead president” are a thief, a stripper and a grandmother. Christopher Lloyd, Diane Baker, Steve Buscemi, Linda Hunt and Elisabeth Shue star in this Capra-esque comedy directed by Keva Rosenfeld.

Christopher Lloyd is among Hollywood’s busiest and best character actors and has created a number of unforgettable roles on television and in film. Lanky, dark-haired, gravel-voiced, hollow-eyed, and possessing almost skeletal facial features that belie their flexibility, he takes after Lon Chaney in his ability to transform himself into a variety of odd personages ranging from malevolent villains to lovable cooks, most of which are comical. Lloyd is also a versatile theatrical actor known for his ability to improvise in inventive, often outrageous ways. This despite the fact that in his personal life he is famously reclusive and shy.
