A middle-aged set designer (Sven Wollter) tries to re-spark his dying love life.
Anja Breien, born in 1940 in Norway, graduated from IDHEC, the French film school, in 1964. Her debut as director was the short film “Vokse opp” (1967), based on a medieval legend. Since then she has directed several short films and feature films, among them “Arven” (Next of Kin), selected for the official competition at the Cannes Film Festival in 1979, and “Forfølgelsen” (Witch Hunt), selected for the Venice Film Festival 1981. She is also known for the trilogy “Wives” I – III. Her short documentary film “Solvorn” was selected for the official competition at the Berlin Film Festival 1998. Her short film “To See a Boat in Sail” was selected for the official competition at the Berlin Film Festival 2001. Her short film “Untitled” was selected for the competition in Sundance in 2006. —Norwegian Film Institute
