Synopsis

This suspense thriller unfolds as the audience is introduced to David Dunn. Not only is he the sole survivor of a horrific train-crash that killed 131 people he doesn’t have a scratch on him. One of the two better movies Shymalan has made. The other being Sixth Sense, this movie had an interesting opportunity to tell a good story with a classic Shymalan twist. Even though I was expecting it, I didn't see it, maybe because the lack of attention I was giving. Nevertheless, the movie is worth watching unlike the latest additions to his filmography.

This is without a doubt Shyamalan's best film. It's a uniquely understated and engaging take on the super-hero origin story that bristles with suspense and sidesteps the usual trappings of the genre.

I really loved Shyamalan’s interpretation of superheroes. Subtle in it execution and just plain fun in its revelations. Anyone who is a comic book fan really ought to at least appreciate the film if…  read review
