Undertaking Betty

In director Nick Hurran’s goofy comedy, Welsh funeral parlor owner Boris (Alfred Molina) is about to realize his fondest dream. His true love since childhood (Brenda Blethyn) will soon make herself available to him — by staging her own fake death. But as part of the bargain, Boris may have to sacrifice his business to an American competitor (Christopher Walken), who wants to “put the fun back in funerals” with Vegas-style ceremonies and neon lights.
