Now retired from his career as a Universal Soldier, Luc Deveraux (Jean-Claude Van Damme) is working as a technical adviser on a top-secret government project to design a smarter cyborg warrior known as S.E.T.H. (voiced by Michael Jai White). But the supercomputer that controls the soldiers has an agenda of his own, which includes destroying his creators and implementing a reign of terror on humankind.
When considering the underrated absurdity of Emmerich's first film, and the formal excellence of Hyams' installment, it is best to pretend this entry never existed. There is no form, there is no content, only an occasional Van Damme flourish saves the day, though I suppose Jai White has his charms. What the fuck is this?
