epic overblown triviality; i am even bored writing for this.
I really liked this film. I thought the areal shots were great. They were all believable characters, but not annoying. The story itself was believable. Just a good dark comedy not to be viewed when you are sad. But still a really good film.
Another fine film from Jason Reitman. Outstanding performances in a story that reveals its heart slowly.
if the main character (whom I have already forgotten the name of) truly wanted to have been the charismatic drifter loner the premise of the movie would involved more constructive and "exciting" settings rather than airports & small town middle america. instead it is obvious he is just trying to distract from his unsatisfying life by encouraging a very compulsive hoarding/collecting disorder.
I enjoyed it but, in the end, it is rather mediocre. The film handles the current topic of unemployment caused by an economic downturn as well as interesting themes such as moral, life, love and the coming of age in today’s society. However, Reitman does not manage to actually go into depth with his characters’ motives and emotions. Most things are handled on the surface. It could have ben better.
i gave this movie a chance. i watched about 45 minutes of it and shut it off. it was nothing but pretenious dribble. it also proves that casting george clooney, vera farmiga, or anna kendrick in anything will sour it.
This film is a masterpiece. If after one viewing you think it's pretty good, but maybe too predictable or too easy, see it again. I'm sure glad I did.
Very effective cinematography and editing, but ultimately, like Bingham's (Clooney) rhetoric, too predictable.
Did anyone else feel like this was basically the same film as Jason Reitman's debut "Thank You for Smoking"? The protagonist, themes, allegories and messages are all identical. Will Reitman prove to be a director who is always looking to remake and recapture his first film?
A movie about nothing. You know, maybe Jason Reitman really is the voice of a generation.
I wanted to kill Anna Kendrick in this film, but Clooney is much more than a handsome single the direction was adequate, the film was saved by the great acting
I really loved this movie George Clooney's performance was fantastic i really loved it, he deserved the Oscar nomination for that performance 10/10 5 stars totally inspiring :)
Cute, very cute... Nothing else, I yes, Travelling by plane 24/7 Not such a good idea
I thought I disliked Juno because of Diablo Cody's writing and Ellen Page in general, but now I'm thinking maybe I don't dig Reitman either.
