Synopsis

A young examining magistrate starts to unravel different affairs accusing politicians. She’s soon asked to stop but nonetheless prefers to risk her life instead of yielding to pression.

Jean-Pierre Mocky (born July 6, 1933 in Nice) is the pseudonym of Jean-Paul Adam Mokiejewski, a French film director, actor, screenwriter and producer. He appeared as an actor in the 1955 film Gli Sbandati and in many other movies, including some of those he also directed (Solo, L’albatros, L’Ombre d’une chance, Un Linceul n’a pas de poches…) His 1987 film Le Miraculé was entered into the 37th Berlin International Film Festival. —Wikipedia

A very good Mocky of the 90's. Well-filmed, with convincing actors (it's not always the case with Mocky) and numerous first-class lines of dialogue, Mocky dellivers a film that could have found its public if only it had been properly shown... Highly recommended.
