Violeta

When journalist Felix (David Ramy) comes to Violeta’s (Blanca Guerra) tiny upstairs apartment to interview the aging Cuban prostitute about her life story, she captivates him with tales of tempestuous love, betrayal and revenge. She tells of the fate of her first lover and the tragic affair with a famous American actor that led to her return to Cuba. Alberto Cortés directs this moving drama adapted from the play by Nicolas Dorr.
