Born in 1967. Upon graduating from the Film & Theater Arts Department at Hanyang University, he studied in Graduate School of Journalism, Sogang University in 1994 as a Moving Image major. 1993-1995, he worked as an advertising producer at Jae-Il Communications and in 1996, he became a documentary director at Digital Chosun Newspaper. He began his film career as assistant director to LEE Kwang-hoon of Repechage (1997) and Ghost in Love (1999). Last Present is his first feature. —kofic.or.kr
