Waco

Crime runs rampant in a small Wyoming town where the sheriff was gunned down trying to keep bandits away. A businessman (John Agar) is convinced he has the answer: Free the sharpshooter Waco (Howard Keel), who’s in jail, and let him run the lawless out of town. But the mayor (Robert Lowery) isn’t convinced Waco is their savior, and Waco’s a complicated man with many enemies. Jane Russell plays Waco’s former fiancée who married the town preacher.
