Synopsis

Wallace & Gromit have started a new bread baking business, ‘Top Bun’ and converted 62 West Wallaby Street into a granary with ovens, robotic kneading arms and an old-fashioned windmill on the roof. The transformation is perfect.

Although business is booming, Gromit is concerned by the news that a dozen local bakers have ‘disappeared’ this year – but Wallace isn’t worried. He’s too distracted and ‘dough-eyed’ in love with former beauty and bread enthusiast, Piella Bakewell.

While they enjoy being the ‘Toast of the Town’, Gromit soon realises his master’s life is in jeopardy, and turns sleuth to solve the escalating murder mystery – in what quickly becomes ‘A Matter of Loaf and Death.’ –wallaceandgromit.com

He also took after his father, an amateur inventor, and would send items – such as a bottle that squeezed out different coloured wools – to Blue Peter.. He studied Communication Arts at Sheffield Polytechnic (now Sheffield Hallam University) and then went to the National… read more

After shooting a feature with our modelling clay heroes Aardman returned to the short format for the first time in over a decade and a fourth time in all. In this particular episode, Wallace & Gromit's adventures take a sinister turn as Gromit tries to prevent his master from becoming the thirteenth victim of a deadly cereal killer who has been murdering all of the other bakers in town. Funny, macabre mayhem ensues..

Kinda boring. and somewhat offensive.

Not creative in terms of story, but an added romantic angle for Gromit and the always genuine playfulness and humor definitely help make this a great short.
