after watching this movie i'm a little off-put by a narrative in so many of luc bessons films - perhaps i only noticed in now because of jean reno, it's rather easy to instantly draw paralells to leon the professional. i'm not happy with the way japanese culture was portrayed, either men in black or horribly annoying teenagers who shriek 'moshi moshi' at their friends.
