A powerful and disturbing film. The two most startling and depressing facts: first that European fresh produce is sold in Senegal at quarter of the price that local peasants would have to sell to survive, so many end up taking the dangerous trip across the sea to become illegal immigrants, living in squalid conditions producing the very same products, often, that drove them to Europe; second, seeing Brazilians starving while convoys of trucks carry soya beans from areas where rain forest has been cleared, to feed the chickens of Europe. As they said in the film, Europeans are eating the rain forest.

Chilling and disturbing, essential viewing. The chairman of Nestle was particularly creepy.
