When a Man Loves a Woman

In director Luis Mandoki’s potent drama, the Greens — Alice (Meg Ryan) and Michael (Andy Garcia) — face a major crisis in their marriage when an accident brings Alice’s secret drinking problem out in the open. As she confronts her alcoholism and Michael struggles to hold the family together, they must tackle issues that arise between them, including the realization of the large role liquor has played in their relationship since the beginning.
