When the Sky Falls

Determined to make Dublin a safer place to raise her child, Irish journalist Sinead Hamilton (Joan Allen) writes a series of investigative pieces exposing a major drug ring. Hamilton’s articles lead to a public outcry for justice and make the reporter some dangerous enemies. The film is based on the true story of Veronica Guerin, who worked on early drafts of the script before she was murdered by members of the drug cartel she exposed.
