I just viewed this and didn’t think it was bad. However, most of the elements were more shocking than anything else. I understand the point of the film, and my favourite moments were the ones that made me laugh (“That was the rapist from last year”) and the scene where a guy gets murdered in a church (which had me yelling “Seriously!?”).

I think the main point of the Criterion release was to give it some well deserved attention, only so that it isn’t forgotten about forever.
