This affectionate documentary looks at the festival-in-drag held annually on Labor Day in New York City, with Wigstock’s founder, Lady Bunny, hosting the event as 30,000 spectators enjoy a dazzling array of costumes and celebrity impersonators. Included are appearances by stars such as Alexis Arquette, RuPaul and Lypsinka, along with behind-the-scenes interviews and footage from the 1993 and 1994 Wigstock festivities.
