I liked the experimental feel. There is a lot that takes you into the story, very dramatic editing that puts you in a trance. I found it to be very well made. It was almost magical.

this is an extremely frustrating film. overall, i like it - a lot. i saw the original 98 minute cut first, and recently saw the 88 minute version. they are two different films, basically. a lot of moods and tones are changed radically, and even though the 88 minute version is tighter in a lot of good ways, it's missing a lot. i think archer is bang-on in everthing except his editing, which is sloppy in both cuts.

I'm surprised how much people dislike this film. I thought it was admirable how the director made a film with such a strong narrative using quite avant garde scenes. Logan's story was like a direct hit to my heart. I dunno though, maybe it's just that I related to story the story so much. I still thought the aesthetics were great.

the music was the only redeemable factor in this film. the rest was rubbish, in my opinion.
