Giddens Ko proves to be a director to watch as his debut, based on his somewhat autobiographical book, is exceptionally shot. Telling the story of Ko Teng and his bunch of friends in the 90s, You Are The Apple Of My Eyes can easily be called one of the most entertaining and heartwarming films to have come out of Asia in the last few years. Honest and true to its material, with a standout performance by its leading man, it is a movie you shouldn't miss, especially if you want to relive those golden years of high school.
Tsui Hark’s Flying Swords of Dragon Gate leads with seven, followed by Flowers of War and Seediq Bale, with six each.
