New York investment banker Laura Conners (Elisa Donovan) is torn between her high-powered career and her desire to spend more time with her nine-year-old daughter, Kelsey (Kirstin Dorn), and is frantic when her Texas-based estranged husband, Dylan (Brad Rowe), files for joint custody.
