Synopsis

When an unlucky-in-love zookeeper (Kevin James) tells his romantic troubles to a giraffe, a monkey, a lion and other animals in the zoo, the critters speak up and advise him how to win over the heart of the beautiful woman who got away (Rosario Dawson). But can the sad sap really make their jungle-love advice work for him? This live-action comedy from director Frank Coraci features the voices of Adam Sandler, Sylvester Stallone and Cher.

The previews for Kevin James' movies always look stupid; focusing on pratfalls and juvenile humor. The movies always exceed the previews, revealing heart and grace the previews never hint at. A great movie? No. A movie I enjoyed? Yes. Plus: Rosario Dawson!

I've known fat people, I like fat people, Kevin James is not fat people. He's an unfunny dicksore that needs to be burned off my meat hose immediately.

As a fun family flick, it's not too bad but it still didn't satisfy completely. Seeing Adam Sandler as a monkey was nice even though I'm not sure if I should take that as a gag or a true portrayal of what he wants to be.

A vehicle for the King of Queens to express his irritation with the world, forgettable but okay for what it is

By Henrik Schunk on January 13, 2012

This film was not as bad as I expected it to be but then again, I am a fan of Kevin James style of comedy the way he delivers his lines and physical comedy. The film always borderlines on the absurd…  read review
