Twenty-four year old American born Alam Khan is traveling to India on his first concert tour without his ailing father, legendary Indian classical maestro sarodist Ali Akbar Khan. Alam knows that soon he will have to play and live life without his father’s guidance and support.
Jan, Rudi and Kati have been friends for many years and work together in Rudi’s pub in a small German town. When Rudi follows Rosa, the lady of his dreams, to Spain, Jan takes over Rudi’s pub and Kati agrees to be his partner. They redecorate the place and Kati falls in love with Jan.
Surrealist type comedy: The Players are managing a film studio which was once in the hands of The Fallen Angels. The Angels make some nocturnal raids and they get ready to reconquer the place but they fail, because they are bad, and goodness shown in the light of the Players always wins instead.
This film documents a post-tsunami and post-conflict Aceh, where an international body is assigned to build houses, while an Acehnese village chief leads his people through the ups and downs of the ongoing reconstruction and rehabilitation process.
