Short Takes: 2011 TFF

We've been getting to know the filmmakers of Tribeca Film Festival all week at screenings and over cocktails. Their stories are harrowing and while some may incite jealously for being among the lucky few who get to make their films, most might make you think twice before making a movie. We heard from a director who used all of his tuition money to fund his film, several who made their shorts for $800 in under 4 days. We think these two should get together for their next film: 'Surviving Tribeca'!

Getting the film delivered on time and across oceans, one creative team forgot to credit their screenwriter! Guest posts from TFF filmmakers are in the works and more first hand accounts are on their way. In the meantime, we bring you ...
