Goodnight Patches

Synopsis

A young boy is heartbroken as he accidentally tears his teddy. His sister, seeing one mourner comfort another while waiting to leave for a nearby funeral, knows immediately what she must do, and they head off to ‘bury’ the dead bear.

Director’s Notes

I’d had the idea to film my children for some time, as they are quite pretty, and the camera seems to like them. I felt guilty that they had a mother who wrote and directed short movies, yet everyone but me was writing stuff for them! My brief was simple: film them walking around, having adventures, and make it look pretty.
