The music is by jj hamon, (aka jonas hamon) who now plays with several St Louis bands (including Theodore and Magic City) and continues to make amazing music of his own. I edited to a song of his, and then he played to the video, which is the music you hear here. We performed it live a couple of times in 2005. (I pressed “play” – he played the guitar and harmonica…)
Three seasons are represented here, winter, summer, fall, and winter again. The title comes from Zechariah 4:10, variously translated, which I heard first in a sermon as “do not despise the day of small things.” What stuck with me was the idea that every moment is holy, every day, even at small gatherings that don’t seem to have much significance. Our lives are made up of these little interactions, and some of them become the cornerstones of bigger things – lifelong friendships, marriages, partnerships, art. And some are fleeting, lasting only in memory.

Lovely, a lot of the ideas here is stuff I'm interested in, too.
