Michael Mann Ranked by Marcus Pinn

Over the last year, i’ve been exploring the films of michael mann pretty heavily. Ive always been a fan, but in all honesty, it never really went past ‘heat’ and ‘manhunter’. sure his current “digital” style of filmmaking doesnt always work (like in public enemies), but other times he pulls it off beautifully (miami vice…which is a movie i think many people are scared to admit they like). I think he’s the best “sutdio” director working today (obviously thats debatable, but still…).
